Keep your chisel sharp!

Yay! Finally finished my slate piece of Jesus. This image design was originally created by Fr. Catich in the 1960s. Catich was always proud to say that he was the first to give Jesus a haircut and shave! 

This is cut with a chisel and mallet in slate. The colors are painted in the V cuts and the gold is gilded with 23k. Enjoy!
